Fluttershy and Gilda. A George Inness study. I love how he paints light and atmosphere.
Been working on this periodically over the past several months as a digital warm-up... Sometimes I go several days without working in the computer, so it's nice to have something like this on the side to fiddle with before I jump into other work.
The image manages to be both haunting and beautiful at the same time, it really shows the love is blind of race and creed and disposition and that it can conquer anything. Well done you've managed to make brilliant piece or art using my personal guilty pleasure crack-ship, just out of curiosity has this been drawn using pastels or some over method? Still keep up the terrific work. PS (Why do I get the feeling that there pet names are something like "gildy" and "flutterdweeb".)
I'm not terribly familiar with George Inness, but I definitely do think that the light in this piece makes it beautiful, so I already like him more for inspiring this study. It all just looks so warm, and even though I don't usually like that pairing, they're really cute together here.
